Administration

The Administration Department performs many functions for the City of Langford. The department receives, analyzes and resolves citizen concerns, complaints and inquiries; ensures a secure financial position for the City; and provides leadership to all City of Langford employees. In addition, Administration provides clerical and staff support for Mayor and Council, and the Administrator.

The responsibilities of the Administration Department also include the production and distribution of Council agenda materials and correspondence and overseeing Records Management.

Administration consists of the Administrator, Deputy Clerk, Administrative Assistant, Administrative Clerk and Receptionist.

Records Management

The City of Langford's Records Management Program facilitates the identification and management of all the City's records. Records are a valuable resource as they compile the City's "corporate memory.” Records Management optimizes the accessibility of records while applying controls to ensure that the records are effectively and efficiently used, maintained and disposed of, when required.

Records Management consists of the Manager of Records, Information and Privacy and one Administrative Assistant.
