Public notice is hereby given that the Rural Municipality of Langford intends to conduct the following Pesticide Control Programs during 2010.

1. To control noxious weeds on road allowances within the Municipality. The projected dates of application will be from June 1, 2010 to October 15, 2010. The herbicides to be used include:
• 2-4D Amine
• Amitrol 240
• Round-up Weathermax
• Garlon 4

2. To control insect pests including grasshoppers and mosquitoes in the Municipality. The proposed dates of application will be from June 1, 2010 to October 15, 2010. The herbicides to be used include:The insecticides to be used include:
• Sevin XLR Plus
• Eco Bran
• Malathion

The public may send written submissions or objections within 15 days of the publication of the notice to the department below.
