The RM of Langford and the RM of Lansdowne have recognized the unique and valuable asset known as the Langford/Lansdowne PFRA Community Pasture. Both Municipalities have resolved to seek the designation of the Pasture as a protected area. The designation will allow for management and grazing while restricting further development.

The purpose of the meeting is to explain the proposal to protect the community pasture in perpetuity. Representatives from the RMs of Langford and Lansdowne will be attending. As well, Manitoba Heritage Habitat Corporation's Field Manager, Curtis Hullick will be there to provide a brief presentation, literature and handouts.
