Garbage & Recycling Transfer Station

• See map below – the transfer station is located on the east side of the Municipal Shop - 1/4 mile North of Highway 16 on the gravel road running past Springhill Farms at the far east side of the Municipal shop.

• All non household garbage must be delivered directly to Evergreen Environmental Technologies (construction waste, appliances, tires, unbagged & loose garbage).

• Non-household garbage and recycling are not accepted at the transfer station.

• All recyclables MUST BE IN CLEAR BAGS ONLY. Clear bags are available at the Municipal office, free of charge to all Langford residents.

• Since the transfer station opened, garbage volume is down 25% - meaning recycling is up and you, the taxpayer are saving tax dollar$!

• The drive through gates are unlocked and the station is open 24 hours a day under constant surveillance. Violators will be prosecuted. If abuse occurs, the drive through gates will be locked and it will be walk in only. Regulations will be strictly enforced to prevent abuse.

• Evergreen Environmental Technologies is located 9 miles west of Neepawa on Highway 16, turn South on Road #466 and it is on the right hand side. Evergreen is open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All non-household garbage and construction waste must be delivered directly to Evergreen Technologies.
