Volunteers Remove Broom

This spring the Westshore Watershed Society, a local group of citizens who provide education and stewardship of the lakes and streams in the West Shore area, has offered to remove invasive broom and gorse from an parkland area west of the Ed Nixon Trail, near the Langford Lake boardwalk.

The City of Langford thanks this group for all their hard work at their May work session. A second session will be taking place Saturday June 21st 10:00 a.m. Anyone interested in volunteering would be welcome. Access is from the Westshore Parkway and volunteers may park on Ed Nixon Terrace, near Steve Drane Harley Davidson.
