City Hall Snow Update

Good Morning Everyone,

As safety continues to be our number one priority for our residents, employees working in Langford, crews working 24/7 to clear our roads and first responders, we ask residents to stay at home if possible, businesses to limit all non-essential vehicular activity, and those on the road to respect winter conditions and your fellow travellers.

Langford City Hall remains open, but will have reduced staff on Wednesday, February 13th.  If you have an emergency please call 911, if you have a non-emergency issue please email it to engineering@langford.ca or call Langford’s general line at 250-478-7882.

The City is asking again that all vehicles parked on the streets be moved into driveways or garages as soon as possible. If your road is not passable due to parked vehicles it makes it very challenging to plow or to turn the plows around. Please do not park blocking cul-de-sac bulbs or other turnaround areas including marked fire gates.

Please refrain from driving ATVs on City Roads, this creates a hazard not only to the plows but to other drivers.

The City will be closely monitoring the situation throughout the day and will provide updates accordingly.
