With the exception of the Property Tax department from May 19th to July 2nd, 2021, Langford City Hall remains closed to walk-in traffic and public access is by appointment only. Face coverings are mandatory for all visitors. Regular business continues via phone, email and appointments. Please call (250) 478-7882 for more information or to book an appointment.

City of Langford Sidewalk Use Bylaw
On Monday, March 15, 2021, City of Langford Council approved an amendment to ‘Sidewalk Use Bylaw No. 1917’ to enable restaurants and retail businesses to expand their operations onto sidewalks, boulevards, and other common areas for up to three years under a single sidewalk use permit. The Federal Government has announced the COVID-19 Economic Response Plan, an $82 billion pandemic aid package for Canadians which includes income support, flexible options for taxpayers, mortgage default management tools, supports for businesses and more.
